Vendor of the Month-September

September's Vendor of the Month is Janet Gottstine. Janet has been a vendor from the beginning and I LOVE her items. Before I showcase some of her things, I will let her tell you a little bit about herself:

'My name is Janet Gottstine and I live in Kansas with my husband Phil of 14 years and 2 kids. Phil works for a manufacturing company as a sales engineer and I get to be a stay at home mom. After college I graduated with a degree in Greenhouse Management and found a job as a greenhouse manager. After our first child was born we decided that it would be best if I stayed at home with the kids. This gave me a chance to do something else that I love to do also, which is crafting. I started making diaper cakes justfor gifts. Then I started getting request for them and I thought if you could shape diapers into cakes why not towels, and other items as well. My husband and I started taking them to craft shows and got a really good response. I really enjoy doing all types of crafts and different medias. I do a little sewing and I have started to get into the hair bows and the feather hair accessories. (My daughter helps me come up with ideas about the hair bows.) When I am not crafting I love to bake and help my parents on their farm.

I am so glad that Nicole let me put my items in her shop. She has everything arranged so nice and has so many neat items and so many talented crafters. It is well worth the time to stop.'

And I am so glad to have Janet's items in my shop. Here are a few of them!

Diaper Cakes:
Janet makes adorable diaper cakes-some in the form of animals, monkeys on motorcycles, baby bouquets...such great gift ideas for baby showers or new arrival gifts.

Towel Cakes:
So many fun options here...beach towel cakes, spa towel cakes, kitchen towel cakes, bathtime towel cakes...and my favorite, apron towel cakes (last 2 photos-so cute!). Love them all!

Bow Holders
I LOVE these and bought one for my girls' bathroom. They are not only super cute for decoration, but functional as well...you clip hair bows to the ribbons that are streaming down. You can also put earrings in the tule or poke them in the top portion...so many fun options!

Tutu Bags
These have been a huge hit. These bags are adorable!

Dry Erase Boards
These are brand new to the shop. These can be used as dry erase boards, or as a board to put up post it notes for your daily reminders. They all hang.

Feather Hair Accessories
These are also new to the shop...so fun!

You should definetely stop in and see Janet's items...they are wonderful!

August Vendor of the Month

Kathy Shultz is August's Vendor of the Month! Here is a little bio of Kathy, followed by some photos of the beautiful jewelry that she makes!

'My name is Kathy Schultz. My husband, Dale, and I have been married for 40 years and have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. I taught junior high math and science in Omaha when we were first married, but stayed at home for 11 years after our children were born. We moved to Hastings in 1977 and I have worked as the Children's Librarian at the Hastings Public Library since 1988. My husband and I spend lots of time working in our garden and flowerbeds, and I enjoy making jam and jelly every summer. I have done crafts of all kinds over the years, including needlepoint, macrame, crocheting, and counted cross stitch. I began making jewelry for myself a number of years ago and the hobby quickly got out of control! I've collected rocks all my life and love working with semi-precious stones. I find it hard to resist buying beads and I enjoy using them to create something beautiful to wear. I have sold my jewelry at several craft shows and appreciate the opportunity to display it at Nicole's Craft Corner. I hope that you will stop in to look at all of the wonderful items she has for sale there!' --Kathy Shultz

Kathy's jewelry is beautiful! She sells some necklace/bracelet combos as well as some individual bracelets. Perfect for a gift idea, or even better...to spoil yourself. You can never have too much jewelry, right???

Hope you can stop in and check out Kathy's beautiful pieces!!!
